Holiday Cheer

Christmas is barreling down on us now.... less than a week away.

I've been listening to Christmas music for the past couple of weeks, and enjoying it oddly enough. I'm not quite tired of hearing "Frosty The Snowman"... not yet at least. And Lil'Dude seems to enjoy my singing along. He thinks it's the funniest thing when I dance around the kitchen to "Jingle Bell Rock".

I'm actually excited for Christmas this year. Lil'Dude has no idea what's going on and couldn't care less - but for us, it's taking on a whole new meaning. Christmas is definitely a lot more fun when you have kids involved. I've found myself reminiscing about when I was a kid and wanting to create those kinds of memories for him. Like I said, this year he won't really get it - but next year and the years after are going to be awesome.

Nonna and I decided to practice for the future and did this great little gingerbread house for us all to enjoy....it's even has lights hanging from the roof!

And the plans have already started for next year's...
