Belly!

Whoa! What the heck happened here?! Actually, it's nothing that happened overnight - I've been "showing" for quite a few weeks. My normal clothes have long since been packed and put away for another time (hopefully). I'm officially 16 weeks along as of yesterday - just starting my fourth month, I think.
Been really dragging this week. Super tired. They say that the baby will do a ton of growing (almost double in size) over the next three weeks, so I suppose being tired is normal. It's sucking all of my energy!

First of Many....

This kid better get used to having it's picture taken. With all of the flashbulbs that go off in this family, he/she will be bombarded (rightfully so!). I think Nicola's first word was "Cheese!".
So Uncle Tom, I'm taking your advice... here is the first installment of Boo Boo's album. We'll start from the very beginning.
This is our first ultrasound at 11 weeks. Ryan and I didn't say much throughout the process... we just stared at the screen - we could have watched him/her all day.

The first sign that our lives would never be the same....

So, I'm going a little backwards here - this happened about 13 weeks ago. I finally found the photo and thought it was worth documenting. A pivotal moment in our lives... the breathless anticipation of watching the lines... "Did it work?" .... "Holy Crap! It really worked!" And thus began the first day of the rest of our lives (or something like that...).
